January 28, our parish greeted the wonder-working Kursk Root Icon of the
Mother of God . A magnificent moleben was served. We thank everyone

Sisterhood Meets to Bake Prophora
The Sisterhood of Royal New Martyr Alexandra has begun to meet regularly for fellowship, spiritual growth and to learn the craft of baking prosphora. Their entusiasm, faithfulness and dedication to our parish is a blessing. The Sisterhood met a Jelena Heable's home Saturday December 12, 2009.

Prosphora Bakers Class
The Sisterhood met at the Rectory to practice making prosphora. Lyudmilla, Anya, Victoria, Jelina, Elena and Natasha joined Fr. Seraphim for the class. We make several batches of prosphora and enjoyed being with each other. Holy Royal Martyr Alexandra pray to God for our Sisterhood and Parish.
